The New 50/50

The next generation of the 50/50 pattern has arrived.

Built around a proven split-colour design, The New 50/50 lineup brings together five unique finishes created for West Coast salmon anglers. Each spoon combines custom colour, holographic flash, and proven action in a handcrafted lure built in Sooke, BC.

Sooke Saltwater Special 50/50
Designed in collaboration with Sooke Saltwater Fishing. Built for the waters we call home. The blue and purple fade over a brilliant holographic scale finish creates the flash and colour contrast that consistently gets noticed by West Coast salmon.

Classic Blue 50/50
Sometimes the classics become classics for a reason. Deep candy blue paired with holographic silver scale creates a natural baitfish profile that shines when salmon are feeding on herring, anchovies, and juvenile baitfish.

Candy Purple 50/50
When the bite gets tough, purple has a way of earning its keep. The deep candy purple finish paired with holographic silver scale offers plenty of flash without being overpowering. A proven choice for low light, deeper water, and the days when salmon want something different.

Limelight 50/50
The Limelight was designed to get noticed. Its bold yellow-to-chartreuse fade combined with holographic scale flash creates an aggressive presentation that stands out in bright sun, low light, and anywhere salmon need an extra reason to commit.

Sunset 50/50
Some lure patterns are born on the water. Others are born at home. Inspired by my daughter and finished in the colours of a West Coast sunset, Sunset blends yellow, orange, and deep red over a holographic silver scale finish. What started as a personal colour pattern quickly proved itself on the water, with a profile that closely matches local surf smelt during the annual smelt run.

Every spoon in The New 50/50 lineup features a heavy-gauge .050" nickel-plated brass blank, premium finish, and is fully rigged with a 4/0 VMC Permasteel Siwash Hook, 110 lb split rings, and 110 lb ball bearing swivel.

Handcrafted in Sooke, British Columbia, Canada.
