‘The Crew’

A community of anglers helping build better fishing tools.

What is the Crew?

The Crew is a group of anglers, guides, and fishermen helping shape the future of The Wedding Zinger.

This isn't a traditional sponsorship program.
It's a group of people who believe good fishing tools are built through experience, conversation, and time on the water.

The people who use these products are the ones who help them evolve.
Their feedback, their experiences, and their knowledge help guide what comes next.

WHY THE CREW EXISTS

The Wedding Zinger was never built around a marketing plan.

It started with a workbench, some tools, and a belief that fishing gear should be built to last.

Every lure that leaves my shop carries my name. That means I care about how it performs, how it holds up, and whether it deserves a place in an angler's tackle box.

But no matter how much time I spend building in the shop, the water is where the truth comes out.

The Crew exists because I want the people who put these tools to work to have a voice in what they become.

WHAT MAKES THE CREW DIFFERENT?

NOT INFLUENCERS

I'm not looking for people to create advertisements or polished content.

I'm looking for anglers who spend time on the water and understand the tools they use.

HONEST FEEDBACK

The goal isn't to tell me what I want to hear.

The goal is to tell me what I need to know so these products can keep improving.

REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE

A lure earns its reputation on the water.

The lessons learned from real fishing conditions are what help build better tools.

WHO I'M LOOKING FOR

CHARTER CAPTAINS

The people who spend more days on the water than almost anyone else. The ones who know what works because their clients depend on it.

GUIDES

Anglers who spend their seasons helping others experience the water and understand the value of reliable equipment.

TOURNAMENT ANGLERS

People who pay attention to every detail and understand how small differences can matter.

DEDICATED ANGLERS

You don't need a boat or a following. You just need time on the water, curiosity, and a desire to use better tools.

You don't need thousands of followers. You need experience, honesty, and a willingness to contribute.

WHAT THE CREW DOES

FISH

The most important thing is time on the water.

Fish The Wedding Zinger products when they make sense for the situation. Use the tools you trust and let them earn their place.

SHARE

When you have a great day, learn something new, or put a product through its paces, share it with me.

A quick photo, a fishing report, or a conversation often tells me more than any advertisement could.

IMPROVE

Your experience helps shape what comes next.

Feedback on colours, finishes, components, and designs helps turn good ideas into better fishing tools.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

The Wedding Zinger is still a small company, and I'm not in a position to offer paid sponsorships. I'm not going to pretend otherwise.

But even as this company grows, I don't want to build its reputation by buying endorsements.

I believe the best products earn their reputation. A recommendation means more when it comes from someone who genuinely trusts the tool they are using, not because they were paid to say it.

What I can offer is a genuine partnership built around helping each other succeed.

As part of The Crew, you'll have:

• Early access to new products and prototypes.
• Opportunities to test future designs.
• Direct communication with me during development.
• Crew pricing on gear and swag.
• Recognition on The Wedding Zinger website and through our channels.
• The opportunity to have your business, stories, and experiences shared when it makes sense.

As The Wedding Zinger grows, my goal is to continue finding more ways to support the people who helped build it.

I want everyone involved to succeed.

We all eat.

THE CREW STANDARD

The Crew is built on trust.

This only works when the people involved genuinely want to be part of what we're building.

Everyone will contribute differently. Some people will spend hundreds of days on the water. Some will have less time. Some will provide feedback on products. Some will share stories, photos, or experiences that help tell the story of what we're building.

There isn't one right way to be part of The Crew.

What matters is being involved, being honest, and caring about the tools we're trying to build.

I don't want the biggest Crew.

I want the right Crew.

A group of anglers who believe that better fishing tools are built through real experience, honest feedback, and time on the water.

NON-EXCLUSIVE

Fishing isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither is the gear we use.

I don't expect Crew members to fish The Wedding Zinger every time they hit the water. Every angler has confidence in certain tools for certain situations, and I respect that.

Fish what works. Fish what you trust.

When a Wedding Zinger lure earns a place in your tackle box, I want it to be because it deserves to be there—not because you're expected to use it.

That's the kind of trust I'm trying to build.

WANT TO BE PART OF THE CREW?

If what I'm building lines up with the way you approach fishing, I'd like to hear from you.

Tell me about yourself, the waters you fish, and what you bring to the table.
